Also contains an agreement, Feb. 15, 1845, between Chauncey Root and Henry Lyon, agent for the Otis Co., cotton manufacturers in Ware, Mass., for the construction of a stone factory; an undated document entitled: Measurement for the Stone Work done by C.L. Root, with a listing on verso of debits and credits; and an inventory and appraisal, Nov. 24, 1845, of Root's estate.
